Dinner with the Maloneys

I just wanted to post a long overdue Congratulations to Carina and Matt on the birth of baby Dermot on March 14th! Carina is my source of baby advice at work. Soon we will be pumping buddies. Fuun! Dermot is such a sweetie! We had dinner with them tonight. Matt will be leaving on cruise in a few days. Good luck Matt! Don't worry, we'll take care of Momma and Dermot while you're gone!

Happy Birthday Todd!

Todd turned 34 today! We went out to a great restaurant for dinner (One Fish, Two Fish). As you can see, the belly is definitely out there. I don't want to hear any more "we can't tell you're pregnant" comments. :) His wonderful wife gave him a briefcase for work, the movie Phenomenon (he likes it) and also got a bunch of great clothes for his birthday (he was very excited about those). It was a great day! Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Welcome from Idaho!

My sister Dawn and the Lasley boys came to visit for the weekend on their Summer East Coast Tour. It was great to see them. They are wonderful, adorable boys! We spent a night at the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg. This first picture is in their clubhouse that was in our room, and the second picture was taken during the dance party in the lobby. We also went to the Virginia Living museum. It was a full weekend! We have definitey missed them since they have been in Idaho, and we had a wonderful time catching up. Hopefully we will see each other again soon!

Welcome to little Regan Dewey!

Congratulations to the Dewey family! Regan was born on June 7th! What a cutie! She and Isabella are going to be best friends! (both of them will get in trouble at school for repeating things that they hear their daddies say)

My 30th Birthday

Okay, I am officially out of my twenties. I have a feeling that my thirties are going to be fantastic! Todd really outdid himself this year. He planned a really great day for me. I woke up to a big, fat pancake breakfast. Then, Jacque, Chris, Jessica and I went out to get pedicures. We had a great time. Then, we went to lunch. I came home to a little party with more friends and an ice cream cake. Yummy!! Then, a big group of us went out to a murder mystery theater dinner. It was a lot of fun! We became little stars of the show ourselves. Jacque and I became suspects because of our alleged romantic ties to the victim. Todd became a suspect because of his frequent trips to the bathroom. And Zach became a star by just being Zach (see the picture of him comforting one of the "widows"). It was a wonderful day. Thanks to everyone who was a part of it and to everyone who thought of me that day. And thank you Todd for being so much fun, and always knowing exactly what I need. I love you!!

Caleb and Cody are Adorable!!!

I went to see Steve and Carly (and to meet Caleb and Cody) in Tucson, AZ. The boys are so precious! Wow! New babies are a lot of work--but worth every minute. :) While I was there, we discovered the true miraculousness (is that a word?) of the "Miracle Blankets" that I've been hearing so much about. They slept like. . . babies when they were wrapped up in those things. I tried to help out a lot and not to be too much of a burden--seeing as how Mom and Dad were slightly sleep deprived. It was great to see them, and I'm so happy for Carly and Steve with these wonderful additions to their family. Congratulations guys!

March of Dimes Walk

Todd and I joined my March of Dimes Walk team from work to help raise money to save premature babies. Capo and Foley came along too. This picture was taken after the walk. Notice how well trained our dogs look in this picture--we're working on it. :) We got stickers that said "Walk for Someone You Love". I stuck mine on my belly--that's what that blue thing is--in case you can't read it.
