Baby Gear Everywhere!

We've been setting up more baby gear. Capo is mystified by all of the baby stuff. He can't figure out why we're getting all these crazy gadgets. He'll figure it out pretty soon!

The Baby Room

We finally finished the baby room too! At least Bugaboo seems to really like it in there. I FINALLY got a few days off of work. That makes it a lot easier to get things done around the house. :) Once my due date arrived, I convinced my boss that it wouldn't be cool if my water broke at work, so I got permission to work from home until the baby arrives. Yay!! C'mon baby, we're ready for you! . . . I think

Happy Birthday Mom!

My mom's birthday was on the 15th, but we celebrated it today. She came into town for the weekend to move her things into the downstairs master bedroom---which is now the "in-law suite". She is moving in with us to help with Bella when I go back to work. Lots of exciting things are happening around here! We're excited to have her.

Our New Room!!

For those of you who don't know, we've been working on adding an upstair master bedroom for the past three months. The contractors finally finished it today. Yay!!!! So here's a preview of the new room. It turned out awesome! I feel like we moved into a new house. Now we're ready for the baby to come.

Happy Anniversary To Us!!

Not only did they finish the bedroom today, but it's also our fourth anniversary. What a great anniversary present! Todd and I went out to dinner and a movie. AND speaking of great anniversary gifts--Todd gave me a beautiful painting as an anniversary/baby present. We had seen the painting in Portsmouth one day when we were shopping around between doctor's appointments. We immediately loved the painting, so he went back to get it for me thinking that we could pass it down to Bella when she gets old enough. When he went back, the painting was gone to another gallery. Rather than bring the painting back from Georgetown, the artist offered to paint another painting just for us. The original painting had two little girls in it. Todd asked if he could do this one with just one little girl. So, that's what he did. It turned out perfectly! Thanks for such a wonderful gift, Todd! It couldn't be more perfect.
