Happy Halloween!

Bella was a pea pod for Halloween. She was the cutest pea poddess ever (the cutest pea pods--of course--were Caleb and Cody)! Our neighborhood had a pot luck, so Bella and Grama and Mommy went out there and ate and gave out candy. Poor Daddy had to fly, so he rushed home to get some pictures with the pea pod before he flew. It was a good first halloween.

Baby's First Halloween

Here is Bella in her baby's first Halloween outfit. She had to change a few times on Halloween, so she could wear all of her Halloween outfits.

Taking a Walk

Bella wanted to go for a walk after we went to the pumpkin patch. Here we are with our new pumpkins, and our little pumpkin in the baby bjorn. We are so festive!

The Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch with Vicki and the Deweys. Bella wouldn't wake up at first, so we had her snuggle up with her pumpkin in her stroller. Once she woke up we went for the photo ops. Regan and Bella were so cute! Regan was fascinated with Bella. We even went on a little hayride. Bella wasn't that into it. She started crying at the end (see the crying pics). Maybe she just isn't a country girl.

Happy Two Month Birthday!

Bella went to the doctor today for her first round of shots (not the greatest two month birthday celebration). Poor thing! She was very good. As you can see, she was happy as a clam a few hours afterwards (see her little tweety band-aids). She's been growing! She weighed 12 lbs 8oz and was 24 1/2 inches long. She's grown 3 1/4 inches since she was born! She's gonna be a tall one-just like Mommy.

This is the first time Bella ever wore a headband. It looks cute! This could become her thing.

The Upside Down Flying Squirrel

The "upside down flying squirrel" is another secret weapon of Daddy's. Whenever Bella gets cranky, he puts her in this position and she loves it. All the blood that rushes to her head kind of makes Mommy nervous though, so she can stay in upside down flying squirrel position too long.

Good Times in the Baby Bjorn

Bella is holding her head up well enough to face forward in the baby bjorn. She likes it a lot better this way. The best part of this picture is Foley peeing in the background. It's always a circus at our house!

Hi Cyndee!

Cyndee came to visit this weekend from Annapolis, so she finally got to meet Bella. We went a got massages and went out to lunch while Daddy babysat. It was a good day. Cyndee's moving to Bahrain for a year. We'll miss you Cyndee! Thanks for coming to see us!

Blowouts

This outfit has an adorable pink tank top onesie that goes under the sweater. But, for some reason, every time I get her dressed in that outfit, she immediately has a blowout and I have to change her onesie--and do a load of laundry.
She thinks it's funny.

Cranky Time

Bella has a cranky time from about 8-8:30pm. It usually coincides with the end of her bath and getting into her pj's. Check out that sad face! That bottom lip sticks way out when she's not happy. It's the warning face before the crying. But doesn't she look cute in the new outfit that G-ma gave her? How can you be sad when you look so darn cute?

Lovin Watching Her Mobile

This mobile cracks her up. I don't know what's so funny. I'm tempted to lay in her crib and see what all the hype is about. I just don't know the weight limit in there. I'll probably be okay. :)

Back to Work

I went back to work today. It was a tough day, but we're getting through it. I was really digging hanging out with my little girl all day long. Boy, did that six weeks go fast! Now I'll be spending my days with Missy the Medela pump. Good times. It was nice to be able to leave her at home with my mom though. It made going back to work a lot easier knowing she was just at home with Grama. Thanks for being there Mom! We love you!

Look at that Face!

Sometimes we'll spend hours just looking at her. Isn't she adorable? :) Of course, we've got a ton of nicknames that we call her. There's: Sweet Pea, Babykins, Bella (of course), Dingle (that's Todd's-we're trying to break him of that one), Baby Bell, Scooter (because she scoots all over her crib when she sleeps--and sometimes will poke out a limb or two through the crib rails), My Little Tree Frog (she scrunches up like a tree frog when you hold her--check out some previous pics)---those are just to name a few.

Bella's First Pair of Shoes

This is Bella's first time in shoes. I guess it made her sleepy. Aren't they cute. We figured out that we better start having her wear them because her feet are so big that she's already about to grow out of them. Like mother like daughter.

Daddy's Secret Weapon

Whenever Bella gets fussy, Daddy sets her on one of the couch cushions on his lap and bounces his knees up and down. It puts her to sleep every time. Nice work Daddy!

Christine and Bella

Christine Digiovacchino came to visit us this week for a few days--just before her move to California. It was great to see her. John even flew in from Pax to have lunch with us one day. Thanks for visiting us guys! Have fun in California--we'll miss you!

She's a Genius!

Today, Bella rolled over for the first time--with no assistance from Mommy. Here's some snapshot roll #3. She did it three times today. (But she hasn't done it since-as of 10/25) But we better be careful of her rolling off of things now--just in case.
