Hogfest 2007

The Dewey's had another one of their famous hogfests! It was a great time. I showcased the belly in classic hogfest style. As you can see, being 8 months pregnant helped out the effectiveness of the costume. And Todd found the perfect hat for the occasion.

Baby Shower!!!

I had an amazing baby shower. Everyone was very generous and it was a lot of fun. Thanks to my sister Robin for coordinating it--she is an perfectionist and it showed. Thanks to Jess, Jacque, Vicki, and Ann for helping Robin out. Everything turned out great. I was amazed. My niece, Kaylee, and nephew, Jimmy, helped out a bunch too. Kaylee held Regan for Jacque and Jimmy kept the present opening moving by constantly handing me cards and presents. We even had some out of towners come out. Cyndee came from Annapolis and Christine came from Patuxent River. Thanks for coming!! Thanks to everyone for coming. You made it a really great day. My Mom and my Aunt Betty and Aunt Susan didn't make it until after the shower was over--due to bad traffic. But we had a second shower after the first--just a little later. It was great to see them. Thanks again to everyone who came out and those who thought of me. Your generosity was amazing. Bella is definitely set up now!! She will be a geared up and well dressed little girl.

Baby Shower Games

We played a few games at the shower. Kimball and I had a baby bottle chugging contest. I feel sorry for babies having to drink out of those things! It's tiring. :) Kimball won I think. It was pretty close though.
The next game was the baby food tasting. April and Shari got to participate in that one. I did not envy them. Especially when they had to have the pork. Yuck! There is a reason why they don't make pork smoothies! Thanks for being such good sports!
Todd even got a present! The guys that I work with gave him safety gear for changing diapers. Now he has no excuse to dodge diaper duty.

Happy Birthday Zach!

I went over to the Dewey's for Zach's 34th birthday party this weekend. It was fun and the food was deelish! Isn't Regan sooo cute!?

Nagshead

We were invited to spend a few days with Carey Long and her family at their beach house in Nagshead, NC. We had a great time seeing everyone again. Todd and I even got up one morning to see the sunrise. It was great to have a few days off to relax. Thanks to the Longs and the Marcheses for having us be a part of their week at the beach. They were very generous and gave us some adorable new clothes for Isabella. I can't wait to see her in them! I included a picture of me in my bathing suit for those of you that have been complaining that I don't have any pictures where you can see my belly. It's definitely growing!

Visit with Jeff and Kim

Jeff and Kim Sowa came to visit for the weekend. We had a lot of fun with them. We went to Williamsburg to see the ghost tour. The stories were pretty scary "if you choose to believe them, or not". :) We forgot to take pictures all weekend, so I got this one the morning that they left. Thanks for making the trip to see us!
